Private Sessions

Virtual Offerings via Zoom

Instructor: Jody

Private & Semi-private sessions are offered in-person or via Zoom in Yoga, Reiki, Stress-reduction, fitness or combo sessions. These sessions are created to suit your needs. During this time of uncertainty where our nervous systems are on overload , sessions that help allow built up stress & anxieties are highly recommended. These sessions would include very Gentle - Restorative Yoga, reiki, learning relaxation techniques. Combining these two options, is an optimal choice to help relax, restore & renew, and would help to balance the nervous system.

Contact Jody Fontaine for your private/semi-private session in-person or via Zoom at (413) 824-9435 or by email for more details.

Mama & Baby Bear Yoga-Fit

Virtual Class via Zoom

Not in session till further notice

Monday Afternoons 2:30-3:30

Instructor: Jody

This "Mama & Baby Bear" Yoga class will offer you some quality time to connect with your little one. Playful interaction, and Yoga for you and your baby, which includes some deep core work too ! During class, I recommend just "going with the flow". Honoring your babies needs first, and what works best for him/her. Each of your babies are at different stages, some busier than others., so keep this in mind as we practice together. Let's have some fun !!

Set up Reccomendations:

  • Have a few of your baby's favorite toys nearby, a binky, teething toy, bottle or drink. If you are nursing, this may even be necessary during class.

  • If your baby is crawling or walking, they may or may not want to engage with you, So, provide an area around your mat where your baby can explore safely, while you get some free Yoga time for you. We won't force your little one into anything they aren't interested in, but hopefully over time they will want to try it too :-)

  • Whether your baby is crawling, walking or not, provide a blanket next to your mat for your baby to lie down on. Have their favorite toys on it.

  • Don't forget some water for Mamma

MONDAY EVENINGS 5:30-6:45

I invite you to slow down & be mindful, after all it's Monday ! To help ease you into your week & bring you to the present moment, we start our practice by "settling in", awareness to breath & body. This class will be at mindful pace, but this doesn't mean it's not challenging at times. As we link breath & movement, we will build Vinyasa’s , which will build heat from the core (our personal powerhouse) and tap into all the support systems within our body. Next, standing and balance postures will be explored. To complete our practice, there will be plenty of time to relax, restore & renew in Savasana. Modifications will be offered to those in need, reminding you to honor your body at all times, as it changes within each moment.

For those interested, 15 minutes of guided mindful- meditation will be offered.

Thursday Evenings 8:00-9:00

Instructor: Jody

This class will help you relax, restore and renew, reduce stress and increase vitality!  Each posture is completely supported to release deep seated stress and long held muscle tension; striving to reset the muscles and the mind. As you deepen and relax in each posture for 10-15 minutes.  Reiki healing is offered to enhance your experience.  No Yoga experience is required and it's open to all levels and physical conditions.  Although all forms of Yoga practice can have far-reaching physical and psychological benefits, Restorative Yoga is intended to super-cede these levels of relaxation and renewal.  Restorative Yoga is used to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system, you experience a lower heart rate and blood pressure.  It also helps to stimulate your immune and endocrine systems in a healthy way.  When you experience stress or feel overwhelmed, it's the parasympathetic nervous system that restores balance. The deep relaxation response elicited by Restorative Yoga also results in benefits to internal organs.
